About Us

The Future Foundations Story

Founded in 2005, Future Foundations is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school children, from 6 weeks to 5th grade. We offer both full-time and part-time care to meet the diverse needs of families. Our program was designed to support parents and caregivers seeking high-quality, educational childcare for their children.



At Future Foundations, we take pride in offering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child. Our professional staff is committed to ensuring each child’s well-being, while providing an engaging and supportive space for their growth and development.

Meet Our Director - Sara Manzi

Sara is in the field since 2010 in early childhood education to Future Foundations. With a deep passion for fostering young minds, she holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor's in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development, a Master's in Public Administration, and is currently completing her Director Credential Certificate.


Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is also dedicated to volunteering with rescue horses. In her leisure time, Sara enjoys listening to music and is an avid Disney fan.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum aligns with the Connecticut Ealry Learning Development Standards (CT ELDS). We use The Connecticut Documentation and Observations for Teaching System (CTDOTS) for our assessments.

Assessments

We utilize both the ASQ’s and CT ELD’s to assess child development.

Social Emotional

The Conscious Discipline and Second Stepprograms are used to promote social-emotional learning, self-regulation, and anti-bullying. We Focus on the Standards for each age group provided by The CT ELDS. We also have a partnership with the Early Childhood Consultant Partnership (ECCP)

Classroom Technology

Computers in the classrooms provide a collection of interactive and fun educational games.
