Our early childhood education department includes children age 6 weeks through prekindergarten. Our focus is on educating children who will be successful in kindergarten and life. We do that by assessing them with the ages and stages tool and by observing and documenting progress utilizing the State of Connecticut Early Learning Development Standards (ELDS). They learn through play, our bi-weekly curriculum themes, and social and emotional activities. Our infant, woddler, toddler, preschool and prekindergarten programs run continuously throughout the entire year.
Upon entering elementary school, Future Foundations becomes a support to teachers and parents by providing care for children bused to and from school. Our school year program begins and ends with that of the Torrington Public Schools but we are open to care for children on most of the days schools are closed.

Our school age summer program is open to all children but focuses on the kindergarten through third grade age group. We provide a calendar with many fun events scheduled!
